In high school, my class took a field trip to study graffiti. We searched the halls at the state university, ventured into the restrooms of fast food restaurants, and stopped along the way to check-out the walls at the local bus station. Like private investigators, we sketched the images and recorded the quotes into our 3-ring notebooks. Ever since that trip, I've been intrigued by graffiti....
Intelligent graffiti is not obscene, crude or hateful. But rather a collection of the smartest, wisest, and most thoughtful scribblings of impassioned people who, for one reason or another, needed to tell us what was on their mind...
